Who We Are?
Our Impact
For more than 25 years, Global Hands of Healing has mobilized medical and dental professionals, students, and volunteers to serve communities with limited access to care across Mexico and Central America. What began as a single mission trip has grown into a movement of compassion—one built on faith, service, and a deep belief that every person deserves access to quality healthcare.
Since our first official mission trip in 2000, Global Hands of Healing has:
• Completed over 40 international mission trips
• Served in five countries including Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica
• Engaged more than 800 volunteer team members
• Treated over 25,000 patients
But our work is about more than numbers—it is about transformation.
What Our Teams Provide
On each mission trip, our volunteers work alongside local partners to deliver comprehensive medical and dental care to underserved communities. Many of the individuals we serve have never seen a doctor or dentist before. Others have lived for years with untreated pain or preventable conditions simply because care was not accessible or affordable.
Through these missions, our teams have:
• Distributed over 5,000 prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses
• Filled more than 60,000 prescriptions
• Extracted thousands of decayed and abscessed teeth
• Provided preventative education and hygiene instruction
• Delivered an estimated $10+ million in medical services and supplies
Each clinic day is filled with long lines, hopeful families, and stories that stay with our volunteers forever.
