Due to the seriousness of the COVID-19 virus and implementation of social distancing for everyone’s safety, the 2020 Taste of Hope event is cancelled. The event has been rescheduled to Friday, April 16th 2021.
(If you have purchased a reserved table or single tickets a full refund is available and you will be contacted in the next few days)
Each year, Global Hands of Healing sends one or more teams of medical, dental, vision and other volunteers to Central America to provide healthcare services to those in small, remote villages who would otherwise go without care. 2019 is no exception and there are two trips scheduled, and planning is underway for Panama in April/May and Guatemala in September. None of this is possible without our generous donors and annual fundraiser – the Taste of Hope.
Each volunteer typically pays $800 to participate on a trip in order to defray a portion of the overall cost. Taste of Hope is our largest source of fundraising each year and the proceeds are used to fund medicines, eye glasses, interpreters and travel expenses just to name a few.
A big thank you for another successful Taste of Hope!
We had another great time and successful event this year at the Taste of Hope. We are so grateful for all of our supporters who attend, contribute items, purchase from our silent and live auctions and the many volunteers who give generously of their time. We could not do it without each and everyone of you.
